I missed it!

A year ago on February 14, I posted to this blog for the first time. Somehow in a week of busyness, sick kid, and Valentine's day, I missed my "blogiversary". My first post is here. I hope some of you check it out, because otherwise I might be the only person that knows what it says.

But, here I am, just over a year later, still knitting (of course) and still blogging. I started my blog to join the knitting community in the Yarn Harlot's Knitting Olympics. I didn't finish my Olympic project in time to "medal". But I did finish my Raccoon Jacket eventually. I've read a lot more of other folks' blogs, and a few people read mine.
Right now, I'm having fun with my Tilli Tomas yarn, making a Clapotis (better late than never). I'm also very busy getting ready for a Destination Imagination tournament in a couple of weeks. So the Clapotis is perfect knitting -- de-stress knitting.

Happy Blogiversary! It's so nice reading your posts and admiring your knitting. I've not made a Clapotis yet, so I'm going to check out your newer posts on that!

  4. I'll add my congratulations, and say you have at leat one reader who has never picked up a knitting needle in his life, except to use in misguided attempts to torment his sisters. I read because I'm amazed at all the cool things you make (not to mention, reading gives me a healthy serving of homesickness). Keep it up!
